GUIDE: Sunday in Petaluma
How do I like to spend my Sunday? First support journalism by reading New York Times! I like to read this over a cup made from the Estuary blend made by Petaluma Coffee & Tea in my Sanny ceramics mug.
At 10 am head over to Renew Yoga for Bhakti yoga. This class has it all: community, chanting, and asana. After yoga I like to walk around and peek at all the great women’s clothing stores in town. Petaluma has so many great stores to choose from. I love to brows them all as you never know what treasures you may find.
My favorite brunch spots are Della Fattoria or The Tea Room. If I want something fast, I head to Stellina or The Bagel Mill.
After that, I like to go to Copperfield’s to pick up a book or magazine and then read in Penry park. Penry Park is a real treasure and a bonus is you get to see a house build by architect Julia Morgan who also built Hearst Castle.
If the weather is good, I will meet a friend for some tennis on one of our local tennis counts. Petaluma does not have a tennis club, but we have a tennis association that helps maintain all our local counts. If you have interested in playing tennis, check out the PTA.
