GUIDE: Wednesday in Petaluma

Welcome to Wednesday! Wednesday is the day to explore everything adjacent to downtown Petaluma. Start your adventure at a Aqus Cafe at the Foundry Wharf. Have breakfast on the deck or take it down to a bench down on the river, this is your adventure, not mine. After breakfast walk down 2nd St, pop into Petaluma Pottery to see what Forrest and Beth have available in their studio. After you have been blown away by the incredible artistic talent that Petaluma potterers have to offer, have some coffee at Petaluma Coffee & Tea. From there you can go into Rivertown Feed to pick up treats for all your animals. They also have baby chicken and a coi pond which is fun for big and little people alike.

From Rivertown Feed cross D St and walk up to the Great Petaluma Mill.

The Mill is in the heart of downtown Petaluma. This building was an abandoned grain mill that was turned into a shopping center in 1977. This was the beginning of Petaluma becoming a historic town with great shopping and restaurants. Stop by the Refill Mercantile to get your (re)fill of your home and cleaning products.

Good lunch spots on Tuesday are Wild Goat Bistro in the Mill or Sugo Trattoria which is across the street from The Mill.
