Have you heard of this idea of the 3rd place? I feel like it keeps coming up in conversations. What is the 3rd place. No it is not 3rd place in a competition. The 3rd place is the other gathering spot. It is not your home or work but the OTHER place you spend your time. Take a moment and think about this. Do you have a 3rd place you spend time at or meet friends to hang out? I am hoping Estuary may come to mind as a 3rd place for you. A place you can come have a chat, come by after brunch or just take a moment on your break from work. Estuary is meant to be a calming moment. That moment can be the smell when you walk in or the calm after getting the gift you have been worried about finding for that hard to buy person, or the dress you need for the event you are going to tomorrow.

To further explore this idea of the 3rd place Naomi, Erin and I will be hosting a little salon at Estuary on 2/22/24 from 5- 7pm. The full information is on the events page but here I want to talk about the why? Why are we doing this? We wanted the community to be able to come together to share a cup of tea, mingle and learn about the process of writing from Erin and Naomi.
